In the past year; here are some of the milestones that we have achieved: 1M Active Users 100 Trusted Counsellors 400+ Students Placed Experience: 3+ Years We are looking for a high-energy, talented quality assurance technician. QATs at ASL are excellent individual contributors capable of taking on tasks of test case execution from start to completion with minimal help. QATs also have experience with gray box, and white box testing techniques; they are able to understand software internals, debug problems using log files and reproduce errant product behavior to assist developers or other testers and identify, track, and accurately report defects found. QATs produce good reproducible defect reports to verify fixed bugs are truly fixed. Roles and Responsibilities: Write scripts to automate the UI functional testing and monitoring the action buttons. All the concepts of Manual Testing should be clear. Automate the API functionality and performance monitoring while flagging of the issues. Write and document black-box test cases working with product team and developers. Work with developers for white-box testing. Configure local development environment and install software's to ensure the functional testing for feature braches. Drill down on ambiguous tasks requests (new features/use cases) into clear work instructions. Monitor and gather logs, traces to add to bug reports when issues are reported from users. You have a understanding of the automation framework to initiate, manage and maintain automation runs as per defined schedule/SLA. Reproduce errant product behavior to assist developers or other testers and identify, track, and accurately report defects found. Required skills: Experience working with Selenium, Java scripts, Java, Git, Basic understanding of Python and Linux Location: Mumbai
