Position Overview

The QA Engineer will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of Peko's payment solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in manual and automated testing, a strong understanding of payment platforms or financial applications, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality product standards aligned with PCI DSS and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web and mobile applications.
• Conduct both manual and automated testing to identify bugs, usability issues, and performance bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to define acceptance criteria and ensure defect-free releases.
• Perform API testing, integration testing, regression testing, and system validation in a payment environment.
• Document test results, prepare quality metrics, and contribute to continuous improvement in testing processes.
• Ensure all QA activities align with PCI DSS, data security, and internal compliance standards.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) to support continuous delivery.
• Maintain test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Postman, JMeter) and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 35 years of professional experience as a QA Engineer or Software Tester.
• Proficiency in test automation tools such as

  Selenium

  ,

  Cypress

  , or

  Playwright

  .
• Experience in testing APIs, databases, and mobile applications.
• Familiarity with payment systems, financial technologies, or PCI DSS standards (preferred).
• Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect management tools (e.g.,

  ).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with load testing tools such as
