Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Responsibilities: Manual Testing: Design and execute test cases based on business requirements, functional specifications, and technical documentation. Perform thorough manual testing of software applications to ensure they meet defined quality standards. Identify, report, and document defects and issues found during testing. Test Case Design and Documentation: Collaborate with business analysts and developers to create clear and comprehensive test cases. Maintain and update test cases, test plans, and test strategies as per project changes. Test Execution: Execute manual tests across different platforms and environments (web, mobile, desktop). Conduct regression testing, smoke testing, and exploratory testing. Defect Management: Track and document defects using issue tracking tools (JIRA, Trello, etc.). Collaborate with developers and cross-functional teams to resolve defects efficiently. Collaboration: Work closely with developers, business analysts, and product managers to understand requirements and expectations. Participate in team meetings, sprint planning, and reviews. Quality Assurance: Ensure software applications adhere to quality standards and best practices. Provide insights on potential improvements to the development process to enhance software quality. Documentation: Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation of test results, testing procedures, and quality standards.
