Quality Analyst

Role & responsibilities

• Review and analyze

  business requirements, functional specifications, and use cases

  .
• Design, document, and execute

  test cases, test scenarios, and test data

  for travel booking modules (Flights, Hotels, Insurance, Payment Gateways, etc.).
• Perform

  functional, integration, regression, smoke, and UAT testing

  .
• Validate

  APIs, booking engines, supplier integrations

  (e.g., Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre, Hotel Suppliers).
• Verify

  multi-currency, multi-language, and localization

  features.
• Ensure proper validation of

  deal codes, promotions, and discounts

  .
• Identify, log, track, and retest defects in Jira (or similar tools).
• Collaborate closely with

  Product, Development, and Support teams

  to ensure timely issue resolution.
• Participate in

  release readiness checks

  and provide sign-offs.
• Maintain proper documentation for

  test cases, checklists, and reports

  .

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

• 2–6 years of Manual Testing experience

  , preferably in the Travel

  / E-commerce / OTA domain

  .
• Strong understanding of

  travel booking workflows

  (Flights, Hotels, Insurance, Payments).
• Good knowledge of

  Testing methodologies, STLC, and Defect lifecycle

  .
• Hands-on experience with

  Jira, TestRail, or similar tools

  .
• Familiarity with

  API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI – basic validation)

  .
• Basic knowledge of

  SQL queries

  for data validation.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  

Good to Have (Optional):

• Exposure to

  Automation tools

  (Selenium, Cypress, or similar).
• Knowledge of

  Global Distribution Systems (Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre)

  .
• Understanding of

  Payment Gateway flows

  (Checkout, Peach, etc.)

  .Experience in

  Agile/Scrum methodology

  .
