Quality Analyst

Role

• Review and analyse system specifications to ensure complete understanding of requirements.
• Collaborate with QA engineers to design robust test strategies and plans.
• Execute manual and automated test cases, analyse results, and ensure alignment with specifications.
• Log testing phases, track defects, and report issues to development teams for timely resolution.
• Troubleshoot and replicate client-reported issues to support smooth product releases and post-implementation operations.
• Conduct post-release testing to validate fixes and overall product stability.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams and communicate with clients to ensure seamless product delivery.
• Create, review, and maintain QA documentation including test plans, test cases, and defect reports.
• Act as a liaison between the QA lead and the testing team to support efficient workflow and quality standards.

KRA

• Design and develop comprehensive test procedures and cases using relevant test data.
• Execute test plans manually and validate expected outcomes.
• Participate in test case reviews, walkthroughs, daily stand-ups, and coverage/impact analysis discussions.
• Collaborate with customers, Test Managers, and Project Managers to ensure clarity and smooth execution of testing activities.
• Contribute to defect triage, risk identification, and mitigation to support timely delivery and quality goals.
• Manage test configurations and assist the lead in release coordination.
• Ensure timely completion of assigned modules with proactive reporting of progress and issues.
• Support quality standards by adhering to defined processes and maintaining accurate documentation.
• Continuously learn and update technical skills through training, research, and hands-on exploration.
• Apply problem-solving and analytical thinking to resolve issues and improve product reliability.
• Provide effort estimations for testing tasks and participate in recruitment activities when needed.
• Foster a positive work culture, enhance team collaboration, and strengthen customer confidence through quality improvements.
  

Technical Skills and Qualification

• Experience in Manual testing and Automation testing, API Testing, smoke testing, performance testing, etc., which includes functional, database, usability testing etc
• Tools: Eclipse, SVN, Postman, Rest API, or any other API, Selenium, Rest-assured, WebApp testing
• Database: MS SQL,
• Operating systems: Windows Server 2008 and above
• Good Knowledge of coding practices, basic programming patterns and frameworks
• 2 to 3 yrs. Experience
• Qualification: BE/B-Tech /MCA or any equivalent degree
