Quality Analyst

As a Quality Analyst at Thrillophilia, you play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our web and mobile applications through manual and automated testing. Collaborating with developers, product managers, and designers, you contribute to building a seamless user experience and upholding high-quality standards. Your responsibilities include developing, executing, and maintaining test cases, scripts, and test plans for various applications. By designing and implementing comprehensive test strategies based on project requirements, you ensure functional, regression, performance, usability, and exploratory testing. Identifying, prioritizing, and reporting defects with detailed descriptions, you contribute to tracking and managing defects throughout the software development lifecycle. You will be involved in API testing, working closely with developers to debug backend issues, and ensuring compliance with industry best practices, security standards, and regulatory requirements. Performing cross-browser and cross-device testing, you validate features before release and stay updated with industry trends and best practices in quality assurance and software testing. Additionally, you contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance overall software quality and efficiency. To qualify for this role, you should possess at least 3 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance. A strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices is essential, along with experience in manual and automated testing frameworks. Proficiency in designing and executing test cases for web applications, APIs, and mobile apps is required, as well as experience with API testing tools and programming languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript for automation scripting. Experience with CI/CD pipelines, integrating automated tests into build processes, and familiarity with performance testing tools are beneficial. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, along with strong communication and collaboration abilities, are necessary for effective teamwork.
