Job Description

Working within project teams to identify product defects as early in the development lifecycle as possible. Working within the release team to identify defects in the integrated product to determine overall product quality.

Reporting into the Engineering Manager for QAD Europe (Spain), in the QAD Office in Barcelona.

Participates in project-level verification activities (reviews, inspections, and walkthroughs) to become familiar with the project requirements, design, etc.
Implements and executes project-level functional test cases, as well as integration, regression and sanity tests
Works with Product Owners and Software Engineers to identify functional test cases which determine whether project requirements are met.
Works with Product Owners and developers to identify functional tests that will determine whether the project satisfies its requirements and that the actual behavior matches the desired behavior. Implements and executes project-level functional tests and integration tests. Analyzes results, generates defect reports in the project s defect tracking tool, and verifies fixes.
Implements and executes product-level system, installation, conversion, and performance tests. Analyzes results, generates defect reports in the call tracking system, and verifies fixes.
Implements and executes 3rd party product-level installation and interface tests with QAD Applications and other 3rd party products. Analyzes results and generates deficiency reports. Assists with the final validation report.
Produces, maintains and reports applicable test metrics.
Participates in homeroom organization meetings, reporting and activities.
Participates in ISO Quality System Audits and ISO Quality System Meetings.

Bachelor s degree in quality assurance, computer science, or equivalent work experience.
Experience in Test execution and Test defect management;
Experience in ERP, particularly in automotive or manufacturing would be beneficial
Experience in working with global teams preferred, multiple product, multiple release environment desirable.
Experience with database applications, client-server applications, or web-based applications, preferably in quality assurance.
Thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle and testing methodologies. Excellent analytical and communications skills. Excellent computer skills
Very good English level
