Quality Analyst

Role Overview: You will be a dedicated Software Tester (Quality Analyst) at Technocrats Horizons, playing a key role in maintaining the highest standards of quality, performance, and user experience for web and mobile applications. Your responsibilities will include creating test plans, executing manual tests, identifying bugs, collaborating with the development team, maintaining QA documentation, and supporting User Acceptance Testing. Key Responsibilities: - Create comprehensive test plans and execute manual tests - Identify and accurately report bugs using tools like JIRA or Bugzilla - Conduct end-to-end testing, regression checks, and validate new features - Collaborate with the development team to provide feedback and ensure fixes meet quality standards - Maintain well-organized QA documentation including test plans, test cases, and test summary reports - Support User Acceptance Testing and assist in validating client-reported issues Qualifications Required: - Keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills - Analytical mindset and proactive attitude - Team-player mentality and curiosity to explore new tools and technologies - Expertise in manual testing including functional, regression, integration, and UI testing - Proficiency in bug reporting tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, Trello, or similar platforms - Good understanding of SDLC & STLC, Agile methodologies, and QA processes - Experience in cross-platform testing for responsive web applications and mobile apps - Strong communication abilities in writing test cases, bug reports, and interacting with cross-functional teams Additional Details: - Preferred skills include basic knowledge of automation tools like Selenium, Postman, or similar - Understanding of API testing using tools such as Postman or Swagger - Exposure to performance testing tools like JMeter - Familiarity with mobile app testing tools like Appium or Android Studio - Holding an industry-recognized QA certification such as ISTQB Education Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, BCA, or related field for graduates - Master's degree in IT or related fields for postgraduates,
