Job Description

Role & Responsibilities:

Auditing and maintaining the quality of the assigned team
Identifying defects in CE or PO transactions as per client-specific/general billing rules and reporting to TL
Preparing daily, weekly, and monthly reports for stakeholders
Conducting root cause analysis for errors and escalations and providing action plans
Organizing weekly/monthly huddles, meetings, and training sessions to share error trends and performance insights
Mentoring team members to improve quality and efficiency
Providing process improvement recommendations and identifying gaps

Preferred Candidate Profile:

2.6+ years of experience in Medical Billing (minimum 6 months in Payment Posting)
Good typing speed (minimum 20 WPM)
Strong working knowledge of general medical billing, insurance plans, modifiers, CPTs, ICDs, POS, and demographics
Knowledge of MS Office
Good written and verbal English communication
Team player with ability to work independently on simple tasks with supervision
