Quality Analyst

As a QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in testing and documenting Salesforce applications for customers, partners, and internal business users. Your primary focus will be on testing Salesforce and other applications built on the Force.com platform, collaborating closely with business analysts, administrators, and developers. Responsibilities: - Design, create, and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases. - Conduct extensive functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end system testing both independently and collaboratively. - Collaborate with development and business teams to ensure high-quality software deployment within specified delivery timelines. - Identify, troubleshoot, analyze, isolate, and report defects to the Salesforce development team. - Assess risks associated with test plans and suggest mitigation strategies. - Contribute to standardizing the QA process and participate in continuous improvement initiatives. - Ensure effective communication with cross-functional teams to align on testing goals and results. Qualifications: - Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Salesforce testing. - Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Familiarity with Agile development practices, SCRUM methodologies, and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). - Proficient in test planning, test case management, and reporting. - Hands-on experience with Application Lifecycle/Test Management tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, etc. - Experience in API testing using tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or equivalent. - Knowledge of project management or business analysis would be beneficial and enhance your role.
