As a Quality Analyst at Barclays, your role involves identifying and categorizing errors, spotting issues, and classifying them for resolution. Your key responsibilities will include: - Ensure Process Compliance: Verify adherence to SOPs and control standards. - Identify and Categorize Errors: Spot issues and classify them for resolution. - Support Risk Mitigation: Help reduce operational and compliance risks. - Drive Continuous Improvement: Recommend process enhancements and automation. - Enable Governance Reporting: Provide insights via dashboards and forums. - Collaborate Across Teams: Work with operations, governance, and control teams to close feedback loops. - Perform QA checks on manual transactions for compliance with SOPs and controls. - Provide feedback to advisors and team leads for corrective action. - Maintain audit-ready documentation of QA reviews. - Share dashboards and MIS reports with stakeholders. - Collaborate with operations, risk, and compliance teams. - Analyze trends to inform training and process improvements. - Support control reviews and checklist updates. - Drive continuous improvement through recommendations and cross-training. The purpose of your role is to determine, negotiate, and agree on internal quality procedures, service standards, and specifications to improve performance and quality objectives. Your accountabilities will include: - Identifying industry trends and developments to implement best practices in quality assurance services. - Collaborating with teams across the bank to align and integrate quality assurance processes. - Developing and governing internal quality assurance procedures, standards, and specifications. - Generating reports and presentations on quality assurance performance and communicating findings to internal senior stakeholders. - Identifying areas for improvement and providing recommendations for change in quality assurance processes. - Executing service quality assessments to monitor quality objectives set by the bank and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. - Participating in projects and initiatives to enhance quality assurance efficiency and effectiveness. - Determining risk based on the outcome of QA reviews and flagging risks outside of tolerance.
