Qs & Billing Engineer

Job Title: Senior Engineer (Water Projects)

• Preparation and submission of Running Account (RA) bills and final bills in compliance with contract terms.
• Coordinating with site execution teams for quantity verification and documentation.
• Reconciliation of certified quantities with client representatives.
• Verification and certification of subcontractor bills based on actual work executed.
• Preparation of work orders in coordination with procurement/commercial teams.
• Tracking work progress against approved BOQs and subcontract agreements.
• Subcontractor reconciliation (work, payments, and material consumption).
• Accurate quantity take-offs from drawings and GFCs (Good for Construction drawings).
• Preparation and validation of BOQs for tendering and execution purposes.
• Coordination with design and execution teams for quantity revisions.
• Conduct detailed rate analysis for new items, variations, and non-scheduled items (NS items).
• Assist in preparing cost estimates and supporting documentation for client approvals.
• Benchmarking with CPWD/MORTH/State SORs.
• Estimating material requirements based on project consumption and forecasts.
• Preparing and reconciling material reconciliation statements (MRS).

Qualifications & Experience:

• Educational Qualification:

  Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering(Post-graduation in QS / Contract Management is a plus)

• Experience:

  510 years in infrastructure projects, with at least 3 years in water-related works (pipelines, STPs, WTPs, distribution systems, etc.)

Skills & Competencies:

• Excellent knowledge of quantity surveying, billing procedures, and contract terms.
• Proficient in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and ERP/Billing software.
• Familiar with CPWD/MORTH/State SOR specifications.
• Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple billing cycles simultaneously.
