QS & Billing Engineer

As an experienced Quantity Surveyor / Billing Manager (Civil) in the Project Management team at our company, your role will involve working closely with all project stakeholders to determine project BOQ, cost, and budget. You should be able to independently prepare accurate quantity takeoffs supported by measurement sheets and hand sketches. Proficiency in spreadsheet / Microsoft Excel functions is essential, along with the ability to review and take measurements from AutoCAD drawing files. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare an accurate quantity takeoff (BOQ) with support from measurement sheets and hand sketches - Proficient in spreadsheet / Microsoft Excel functions - Review and take measurements from AutoCAD drawing files - Manage Project Budget for civil construction items as per CPWD/DSR format - Prepare, check, and certify civil construction running and final bills - Reconcile cement, steel, and other free supply material - Take off accurate quantities from construction / GFC drawings - Apply strong knowledge of thumb rules and ratios for civil construction items - Utilize resourcefulness and contacts with suppliers, vendors, and contractors - Demonstrate high attention to detail and thoroughness in your work Key Competencies and Skills: - Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering - 8-10 years of quantity surveying, billing, and planning experience in civil contracting or consultancy organizations - Theoretical and practical knowledge of various civil construction activities including RCC work, road and infrastructure work, building work, structural steel work, architectural and finishing items, plumbing and sanitary items, and aluminum section work Please note that the above responsibilities and qualifications are essential for excelling in this role as a Quantity Surveyor / Billing Manager (Civil).,
