Job Description

Job Responsibility

  • Conduct quality testing of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products as per SOPs
  • Operate, calibrate, and maintain QC instruments; ensure calibration logs are updated
  • Document and review test results, maintaining accurate QC records
  • Coordinate with production teams to address quality deviations and implement corrective actions
  • Assist in developing and refining QC procedures for efficiency and compliance
  • Monitor environmental conditions in the lab to ensure test accuracy
  • Support in preparing COAs (Certificates of Analysis) for finished goods
  • Participate in internal audits and ensure readiness for external inspections
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and proper handling of chemicals
  • Provide feedback to R&D on product performance and quality trends

Skills Required

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with QC instruments and testing methods in the paint/coatings industry
  • Good communication and documentation skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy

Experience Required

1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably Industrial Paint division, with chemical/chemistry background

Qualification Required

Diploma/Bachelor's/Master's degree in Chemicals, Chemistry, Paint Technology, or a related field.

Ideal Candidate

An experienced quality control professional with a solid background inchemical or paint/coatings testing, capable of independently handlingroutine QC operations, interpreting results, and collaborating withproduction and R&D teams to maintain consistent quality standards.Skills: calibration,ensure safety control,adherence,document review,quality testing of goods,research and development (r&d),analytic problem solving
