Job Title: QC Assistant

Department: Quality Control

Location: Rai , Sonipat

Reporting To: QC Manager / Quality Head

Job Purpose:

To assist in monitoring, inspecting, and ensuring the quality of raw materials, in-process production, and finished label stock products as per industry standards and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in routine quality checks of raw materials, adhesive, paper, films, and other inputs used in label stock manufacturing.
• Conduct in-process inspections during coating, slitting, and finishing operations.
• Record test results accurately and maintain proper documentation of quality reports.
• Support QC Manager in preparing daily/weekly quality reports.
• Perform basic laboratory tests (peel strength, GSM, release force, adhesion, etc.).
• Monitor product quality against standard specifications and customer requirements.
• Assist in identifying non-conformities and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Ensure compliance with ISO, GMP, and other quality management systems.
• Maintain QC instruments, calibration records, and testing equipment in good condition.
• Coordinate with Production & Dispatch teams for quality clearance before shipments.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and enhance quality.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Basic knowledge of label stock materials (paper, film, adhesive, silicone coating, etc.).
• Familiar with quality inspection tools and testing equipment.
• Good documentation and reporting skills.
• Attention to detail with strong analytical mindset.
• Team player with ability to coordinate across departments.
• Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, Word, ERP preferred).

Qualification & Experience:

• Diploma / B.Sc. (Chemistry, Printing, Packaging, or related field).
• 1–3 years of experience in Quality Control (preferably in label stock, packaging, or adhesive coating industry).
• Freshers with strong learning ability can also be considered.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
