QA/QC-Mechanical Inspector

Join a dynamic team in our module fabrication project at Dahej, where your expertise in mechanical and welding inspections will ensure top-quality execution. This long-term assignment (6–9 months) offers an excellent opportunity to work on significant industrial development projects while enhancing your technical skills and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review project specifications, drawings, datasheets, and codes before work execution.
• Conduct inspections of mechanical fabrication, equipment installation, and piping assembly.
• Verify material receiving inspections, MTCs, and maintain material traceability.
• Witness hydrostatic, pneumatic, leak, and operational tests as per ITP standards.
• Ensure calibration validity of all tools and instruments used during inspections.
• Monitor construction activities for compliance with ASME, API, ASTM, and project standards.
• Identify and document non-conformities; raise NCRs and ensure corrective actions.
• Inspect installation of static and rotating equipment, including alignment and grouting.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and assist in final dossier handover.

Required Skills:

• Experience in construction, fabrication, or plant maintenance QA/QC
• Knowledge of ASME Sec VIII, B31.3, and API standards
• Strong documentation, reporting, and communication skills
• Familiarity with Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) and QA/QC procedures

Qualifications:

• Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 6–8 years of experience in QA/QC for fabrication or construction projects
• Mandatory Certificate: ASNT NDT Level II
