QA/QC Engineer/Sr.Engineer/Asst.Manager

Role & responsibilities

1. Develop and implement the QA/QC plan for Mivan-based high-rise construction.

2. Ensure all construction activities comply with the approved quality standards and procedures.

3. Liaise with consultants and clients for approvals and inspections.

4. Conduct inspections of Mivan formwork systems including alignment, plumb, level, and surface quality.

5. Ensure correct installation and striking of Mivan panels.

6. Monitor de-shuttering times, material handling, and reuse standards.

7. Supervise concrete pouring for vertical and horizontal elements.

8. Conduct cube testing, slump testing, and temperature checks.

9. Ensure curing practices are adhered to as per specifications.

10. Maintain daily inspection reports, NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports), and corrective action records.

11. Prepare and update checklists for all construction activities.

12. Ensure records of quality assurance and control documentation are maintained.

13. Coordinate with site engineers, foremen, subcontractors, and other departments.

14. Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.

15. Participate in internal and external audits and implement necessary improvements.

Preferred candidate profile

1. Bachelors degree or diploma in Civil Engineering.

2. Minimum 510 years of experience in QA/QC for high-rise construction using Mivan formwork.

3. Thorough knowledge of concrete technology, structural detailing, and finishing standards.

4. Familiarity with IS codes, relevant construction standards, and QA/QC practices.

5. Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and QA documentation tools.

6. Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

7. Good communication and documentation ability.

8. Capable of working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

9. Certification in quality systems (e.g., ISO 9001) is an added advantage.
