QA/QC Engineer

Job Title: QC Engineer

Location: Vasai, Thane, Maharashtra

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-process and final inspections of stainless steel fabricated components such as tanks, heat exchangers and other components.
• Verify welding quality, dimensional accuracy, and finishing as per project requirements.
• Review material test certificates and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Supervise NDT methods (DPT and RT) as required.
• Monitor welding procedures (WPS, PQR) and welder qualifications.
• Prepare and maintain inspection reports, quality records, and dossiers.
• Coordinate with clients and third-party inspection agencies for approvals.
• Supervise hydrostatic, pneumatic, and leak testing of tanks.
• Raise NCRs for non-conformities and follow up on corrective actions.
• Support continuous improvement in quality processes and standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelors / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• 1-2 years of experience in Quality Control, preferably in fabrication of stainless steel tanks, pressure vessels, or process equipment.
• Knowledge of ASME / ISO codes and standards.
• Hands-on experience with NDT methods and measuring instruments.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.
• Ability to coordinate with production, clients, and inspection agencies.

Job Types: Full-time, Fresher

Pay: ₹250,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
