QA Tester (Intern)

Skills

• Familiarity with automation tools such as Selenium or Cypress
• Working knowledge of Postman, JUnit/TestNG, JIRA, Jenkins
• Fundamentals in manual testing (functional, regression, exploratory)
• Basic understanding of SQL for data validation
• Excellent analytical thinking and attention to detail
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to learning
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative, fast-paced team environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand and apply principles of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
• Design and execute test cases for UI, API, performance, and unit testing based on functional/technical requirements
• Perform various types of testing: functional, regression, integration, performance, and usability
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts
• Write and execute Java unit tests and integrate them into CI pipelines
• Conduct manual exploratory and regression testing using defect tracking tools
• Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like JIRA
• Use Postman to validate APIs and data responses
• Collaborate closely with developers to replicate issues and verify fixes
• Provide constructive feedback on usability and user experience
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date test documentation and project artifacts

Qualifications

• Graduation or Post-graduation in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Experience – Fresh Graduates
