QA Tester

Job Title: QA Tester
Experience: 2–7 Years

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and stability of web and mobile applications through manual and automated testing. You will work closely with developers, project managers, and designers to identify issues, reproduce bugs, and ensure product excellence before release.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze system specifications and requirements.
• Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results.
• Identify, record, and document bugs and issues using bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla, Trello).
• Perform regression testing after bug fixes.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand project scope and functionalities.
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Participate in design and requirement review meetings.
• Ensure all deliverables meet the required quality standards before release.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a QA Tester, Software Tester, or similar role.
• Experience in manual testing and knowledge of automation tools (like Selenium, Postman, JMeter, or Cypress).
• Solid understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.

Preferred Skills:

• Basic understanding of SQL and database testing.
• Experience with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured).
• Exposure to mobile application testing (Android/iOS).
• Knowledge of CI/CD and test automation frameworks.
