QA Tester

Job Title: QA Tester – Accounting Software Testing

Location: Surat, Gujarat
Job Type: Full-Time
Experience: 1–4 Years (Experience with strong accounting knowledge may also apply)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical QA Tester to test and validate the features and functionality of our Accounting and Financial Software products. The ideal candidate should have a background in QA and a basic understanding of accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review software requirements and prepare detailed test scenarios and cases
• Conduct functional, regression, integration, and UI testing for accounting modules (e.g., ledger, balance sheets, GST reports)
• Perform data validation and verify the accuracy of financial calculations
• Test invoice generation, transaction posting, and tax computations (GST/TDS)
• Document bugs with detailed steps to reproduce and work with developers for fixes
• Ensure software meets business and compliance requirements
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and QA reviews
• Contribute to test automation for repetitive test cases (optional)

Must-Have Skills:

• Experience with manual testing processes
• Basic understanding of accounting terms and practices (e.g., debit/credit, trial balance, GST)
• Knowledge of bug tracking tools like Jira, Trello, or similar
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred (Good to Have):

• Experience testing accounting, ERP, or inventory management software
• Familiarity with tools like Postman, Selenium, or SQL for data validation
