QA Manual Tester

Job Title: Senior QA Manual Tester Experience Level: 5+ Years Location: Chandigarh Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior QA Manual Tester to join our Quality Assurance team. Key Responsibilities Analyze requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases and test plans Execute manual test cases for web, mobile, and desktop applications Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like Jira, Bugzilla, or similar Perform regression testing, functional testing, integration testing, and exploratory testing Collaborate with developers and other team members to understand features and resolve issues Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings and contribute to sprint planning and reviews Continuously suggest improvements in QA processes and best practices Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field 5+ years of proven experience in manual software testing Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes Experience with test case management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr) Experience in testing APIs using tools like Postman or similar Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team Preferred Skills (Nice to Have) Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments Familiarity with basic SQL queries for data validation Knowledge of version control systems like Git Exposure to automated testing concepts or tools is a plus Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹450,000.00 - ₹750,000.00 per year Benefits: Flexible schedule Schedule: Day shift Monday to Friday Supplemental Pay: Yearly bonus Ability to commute/relocate: Chandigarh, Chandigarh: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person Speak with the employer +91 7888499500
