Job Description – Manual Tester (1–2 Years Experience)Role Overview

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Manual Tester with 1–2 years of experience to join our QA team. The candidate will be responsible for understanding requirements, preparing test scenarios & test cases, executing functional tests, and ensuring high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and create test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
• Perform different types of testing:
• Functional Testing
• Regression Testing
• Smoke/Sanity Testing
• UI/UX Testing
• Compatibility Testing
• Integration Testing
• Identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking tools (Jira, Trello, Bugzilla, etc.).
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to clarify requirements and ensure proper bug resolution.
• Execute test cases across web & mobile applications.
• Validate API responses (basic understanding of Postman preferred).
• Participate in review meetings and provide testing status reports.
• Ensure test coverage and follow QA processes.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of STLC, SDLC, and Bug Life Cycle.
• Good understanding of test case design techniques.
• Experience with web and mobile app testing.
• Basic knowledge of API testing using Postman (bonus).
• Experience in creating test reports and defect logs.
• Good observation skills & attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and within a team
