QA Manual

Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled QA Manual Tester with 2–3 years of experience to join our QA team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of manual testing methodologies , API testing , and Agile processes . You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that we deliver high-quality, bug-free digital solutions. Key Responsibilities: Understand and apply SDLC, STLC, and Defect Life Cycle in day-to-day testing activities Perform various types of testing: Sanity, Smoke, Regression, Alpha, Beta , and Cross-browser testing Create and execute positive and negative test scenarios based on functional requirements Log and manage bugs using tools like JIRA , Google Sheets , or equivalent defect tracking systems Test applications on multiple platforms including Android and iOS Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment and attend sprint ceremonies Maintain clear and structured test documentation (test cases, test data, bug reports, etc.) Perform cross-browser compatibility testing to ensure consistent user experience Assist in identifying, analyzing, and solving production issues with a problem-solving mindset Prioritize and manage multiple project deadlines and testing activities simultaneously (Optional) Review API responses to validate backend functionality (basic knowledge is sufficient) Required Skills & Qualifications: 2–3 years of hands-on experience in manual QA testing Strong understanding of software development and testing life cycles Familiarity with Agile methodologies and sprint-based delivery Experience in testing mobile apps on Android and iOS platforms Exposure to cross-browser testing tools or browser-based compatibility checks Experience with defect tracking tools like JIRA Strong documentation skills and attention to detail Ability to multitask and adapt to changing project priorities Strong problem-solving skills , especially in identifying and reproducing critical issues Excellent verbal and written communication skills Show more Show less
