Job Description

Job Overview

QA Manager

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement quality assurance processes for woven womens wear production.
Oversee in-line, mid-line, and final inspections to ensure compliance with buyer specifications.
Ensure fabric, trims, and embellishments meet required standards before production.
Coordinate with sampling, merchandising, and production teams to resolve quality issues.
Liaise with buyers, third-party QA teams, and vendors regarding quality requirements.
Train and guide the factory QA/QC team to maintain consistent quality standards.
Prepare and maintain quality reports and ensure corrective and preventive actions are taken.
Ensure compliance with international quality norms and buyer protocols.

Requirements

Graduate/Diploma in Textile, Apparel, or Fashion Technology.
8–12 years of experience in QA within the garment export industry, with a focus on woven women’s wear.
Strong knowledge of sewing, construction, washing, and finishing processes in high-fashion garments.
Proven experience in handling buyer audits and inspections.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team management skills.
Eye for detail, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.

Preferred Background

Prior experience in reputed woven export houses.
Hands-on experience with hi-fashion styles, embellishments, and delicate fabrics.
Familiarity with European and US buyer quality standards.
