QA Lead

As a QA Lead for Healthcare SaaS Products, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our platform. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading the QA strategy for one or more product lines, covering manual, automation, API, and performance testing. - Collaborating with product managers and developers to create detailed test plans and test cases based on requirements. - Mentoring and supervising QA team members to drive best practices in testing and bug reporting. - Implementing and maintaining automation frameworks for UI and API testing to expand regression coverage. - Conducting API testing using tools like Postman, Swagger, or Rest Assured to validate backend integrations. - Planning and executing performance testing with tools like JMeter or LoadRunner, identifying bottlenecks, and recommending improvements. - Coordinating with DevOps to manage test environments and integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines. - Ensuring test coverage includes HIPAA and data privacy requirements in collaboration with security and compliance teams. - Analyzing test results, identifying root causes, and driving continuous improvement in QA processes. - Providing regular QA status updates to stakeholders and leadership to highlight risks and release readiness. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - 8+ years of QA experience. - Proven experience in manual and automated testing of Healthcare SaaS applications. - Strong knowledge of API testing (RESTful APIs, Postman, Swagger). - Hands-on experience with automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, TestNG. - Background in performance testing using JMeter or similar tools. - Familiarity with healthcare standards like HIPAA, HL7, FHIR, and EMR/EHR platforms. - Experience in Agile/Scrum environments with tools like JIRA, Confluence. In addition to the must-have qualifications, it would be nice to have experience with BDD frameworks like Cucumber, Cypress, Playwright & Test Trigger, cloud-based environments (AWS, Azure, GCP), and knowledge of SQL for data validation. Key Skills required for this role include strong leadership, communication, analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a commitment to product quality. You should also be able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for healthcare technology and patient-centered solutions.
