• Lead, mentor, and manage QA teams to ensure consistent quality delivery across multiple products.
• Define and implement QA strategy, standards, and best practices with a strong focus on test automation.
• Collaborate closely with development, product, and architecture teams to integrate shift-left testing and improve overall SDLC quality.
• Drive test automation initiatives across web and API layers using modern automation frameworks and tools.
• Oversee QA planning for our solution re-write initiatives (microservices, agentic AI, and modern tech stack).
• Ensure adherence to SLAs, proactive defect prevention, and root cause analysis for production issues.
• Build a strong quality culture, including continuous learning, cross-training, and process improvements.
• Evaluate and recommend new QA tools, automation frameworks, and AI-based testing solutions.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTSEducation

• BE, B. Tech, M. Tech in Computer Science or equivalent.

Certifications

• Knowledge of Automation Testing.
• Knowledge of API Testing Postman.
• Knowledge of Azure Devops.
• Knowledge of CICD.
• Knowledge of Cloud Services.
• Knowledge of Load Testing.
• Knowledge of Mongo DB.
• Knowledge of Performance Testing.
• Knowledge of Selenium Java.
• Knowledge of SQL.
• Knowledge of .Net.
• Knowledge of .Net Core.
• Knowledge of Angular.

Work Experience

• 10 to 12 years of experience as a QA Lead.
• Experience in Airlines or travel domain is a plus.

Skills

• Bachelor degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven experience managing large QA teams and multiple team leads.
• Strong expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, etc.), API testing (Postman, etc.), load and performance testing.
• Experience with web applications built on .NET and SQL Server; exposure to .NET Core, Angular, MongoDB, and Microservices is a strong plus.
• Hands-on understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated testing into build processes (Azure DevOps).
• Strong understanding of QA metrics, defect RCA, and process improvement methodologies.
• Exposure to AI-based testing tools is desirable.
• Familiarity with cloud-based testing setups will be a plus.
• Experience working in travel and transportation domain will be a plus.
