Position: Senior QA Engineer / Lead QA Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Manual QA Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in manual testing, test management, requirements analysis, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. You will be responsible for ensuring product quality by designing, executing, and maintaining test cases. Key Responsibilities: Analyze business requirements, technical specifications, and UI/UX documents to create effective test plans and test cases. Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, System, Sanity, and End-to-End testing. Execute test cases, track defects, and collaborate with developers for timely resolution. Prepare and maintain test documentation including Test Plans, Test Cases, Test Summary Reports, and Traceability Matrix (RTM). Perform thorough API testing using tools like Postman. Review test cases prepared by team members and ensure high-quality coverage. Participate in Agile ceremonies Sprint Planning, Scrum Meetings, and Retrospectives. Mentor junior QA members and ensure adherence to QA processes and standards. Provide regular status reports and ensure timely delivery of testing milestones. Work closely with Product, Development, and Business Teams to understand quality expectations. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field. 7-10 years of hands-on experience in Manual Testing. Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile & Scrum methodologies. Expertise in designing and executing comprehensive test scenarios and test cases. Proficiency in Defect Tracking Tools: JIRA, Bugzilla, Azure DevOps, Mantis, or similar. Experience with Test Management Tools: TestRail, Zephyr, QTest. Good knowledge of SQL for backend/database testing (Basic to Intermediate). Basic understanding of API testing (Postman). Experience in mobile application testing (Android/iOS) is an added advantage. Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
