Job Title: Test Lead
Work Location: Coimbatore Department: Quality Experience: 8+ years of experience in software testing

Core Responsibilities: 1. Play a lead role in communicating with management, supporting clients, stakeholders and other team members through different testing methodologies. 2. Design and build test architectures (test automation frameworks, code libraries, etc.) for the team to use across the platforms 3. Knowledge to generate the QA Metrices and solution approach to manage the same. 4. Write, design, and execute automated tests by creating scripts 5. Maximize test coverage for the most critical features of the system 6. Should determine the priority for test scenarios and create execution plans to implement during the sprints. 7. Documentation for automated processes including test plans, test procedures, and test cases 8. Log and document bugs in the tracking system 9. Should define strategic direction for testing by providing guidance, feedback, and suggestions to improve quality practices 10. Handling team meeting and encourage team members to learn new technologies/certification 11. Allocating the task to the team members and review, keep track of their activities regularly and report the same to the management. 12. Provide technical mentoring and training to the team members. 13. Oversee the functional, non-functional and user acceptance testing of core IT and product; thereby contributing to the improvement of the cost effectiveness and quality of testing as part of the overall software lifecycle. 14. Support coordinating, planning, executing and documenting test and integration activities to help ensure meet requirements. 15. Leverage the testing process and test tool kit to create re-useable test assets 16. Participate in multiple meetings with IT owners, business owners and product or team members.

Technical Skillset: 1. Demonstrated experience over the test framework setup and usage 2. Test case tracking tools 3. Database testing - Working with queries to validate the scenarios. 4. API testing Postman, SOAPUI, REST API

Knowledge of Tools 1. Knowledge of C#/ Java code with Selenium, anything equivalent 2. Knowledge in code versioning tools like Git\ TFS\ Bit Bucket, etc. 3. Pipeline Setup, Configuration management 4. Security- Vulnerability tool-based testing & reports

Soft Skills 1. Ability to communicate clearly with both business and technical teams and be able to present to senior stakeholders 2. Excellent English verbal and written communication skills 3. Strong logical, analytical, and problem-solving skills 4. The candidate should be Highly Motivated and a Self-Starter at work 5. Identify & refers prospective candidates 6. Takes professional ethics such as punctuality, dress-code, meetings very seriously 7. Identifies and proposes alternative ways of solving a business problem 8. Demonstrates awareness of individual and group dynamics
