Identifies and proposes alternative ways of solving a business problem Demonstrates awareness of individual and group dynamics Core Responsibilities: 1. Act as the primary point of contact for all testing activities, working closely with cross-functional teams including development, business analysts, product managers, and senior leadership. 2. Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies, plans, test cases and schedules to ensure full coverage of functional and non-functional requirements. 3. Define the scope, objectives, and deliverables for testing activities. 4. Establish testing priorities, allocate resources, and set timelines to ensure efficient execution. 5. Design and build test architectures (test automation frameworks, code libraries, etc.) for the team to use across the platforms 6. Ensure all testing activities are well-documented, including test cases, test results, and defect reports for both automation and manual. 7. Generate regular reports on testing progress, risks, and outcomes and present it to internal and external stakeholders. 8. Generate the QA Metrices and solution approach to manage the same. Monitor test metrics and KPIs to evaluate team performance and identify areas for improvement. 9. Write, design, and execute automated tests by creating scripts 10. Ensure comprehensive test coverage and accuracy of test execution. Oversee the execution of various testing types, including functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT). 11. Should determine the priority for test scenarios and create execution plans to implement during the sprints. 12. Identify potential risks early in the testing phase and escalate appropriately, ensuring proper risk management strategies are in place. 13. Identify and track issues or risks, ensuring they are communicated promptly and resolved effectively to avoid project delays. 14. Manage the defect lifecycle, including triaging and prioritizing defects. Track and report on defect status and resolution progress to ensure timely fixes. 15. Should define strategic direction for testing by providing guidance, feedback, and suggestions to improve quality practices. 16. Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and support continuous professional development for team members. 17. Leverage the testing process and test tool kit to create re-useable test assets 18. Oversee testing of core IT and product, thereby contributing to the improvement of the cost effectiveness and quality of testing as part of the overall software lifecycle.
