Job Title: Senior Automation & Manual Test Engineer (10+ Years Experience)

1. Lead the design, development, and execution of comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test scripts for complex enterprise applications.
2. Perform end-to-end manual and automated testing, ensuring product quality across functional, regression, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing phases.
3. Drive automation initiatives enhance and maintain robust automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or equivalent.
4. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including development, DevOps, product management, and business analysts to align on requirements, test coverage, and quality goals.
5. Conduct API, database, and performance testing, ensuring system stability, scalability, and accuracy.
6. Review technical documentation and identify gaps or ambiguities early in the SDLC to prevent defects.
7. Manage and prioritize multiple testing projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of quality releases.
8. Mentor and guide junior QA engineers, conduct code and test case reviews, and enforce QA best practices across teams.
9. Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated test execution and continuous quality validation.
10. Prepare detailed test reports, defect summaries, and quality dashboards, ensuring clear communication with all stakeholders.
11. Ensure compliance with company QA standards, and proactively suggest process improvements and tool upgrades.

Qualifications & Skills

1. Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
2. 10+ years of experience in software testing, with a strong background in both manual and automation testing.
3. Proven expertise in test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Robot Framework, Playwright, or TestNG).
4. Hands-on experience with programming/scripting languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
5. Strong understanding of Agile / Scrum / DevOps methodologies and continuous testing practices.
6. Deep knowledge of SDLC and STLC, test design techniques, and defect management tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps, or TestRail).
7. Experience with API testing tools like Postman, Rest Assured, or SoapUI, and performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
8. Solid experience in database validation using SQL queries and backend verification.
9. Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
10. Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills to work effectively across global teams.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of cloud testing (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Exposure to containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
