QA Lead

Key Responsibilities

• Manual & Exploratory Testing:

• Plan and execute functional, regression, integration, and crossbrowser/device tests for all e-Commerce websites.
• Validate checkout flows, personalization features, inventory sync, subscription renewals, and promotions.

• Automated Test Development:

• Maintain and enhance the Selenium WebDriver–based automation framework for regression, smoke, and integration testing.
• Collaborate with DevOps to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
• Establish best practices for code structure, reusable components, and reporting within the test suite.
• Write, review, and maintain automated test scripts in Java (or preferred language) to cover critical user journeys across the e-Commerce websites
• Leverage Page Object Model (POM), datadriven testing, and other patterns to ensure stability and scalability of tests.

• ERP Validation:

• Test endtoend processes in any leading ERP solutions—lead capture, order management, returns, and support workflows.
• Ensure seamless data exchange between Magento/Shopify platforms and Dynamics.

• Shopify & ECommerce Testing:

• Build and run test cases for any Shopifyhosted microsites or pilot projects.
• Troubleshoot Liquid templates, thirdparty apps, and custom plugins.

• CrossFunctional Collaboration:

• Work closely with Business Analysts and Developers to review requirements, share insights, and ensure mutual understanding of acceptance criteria and technical feasibility.

• Team Leadership & Collaboration:

• Lead, coach, and mentor a team of QA Analysts (2–4 members).
• Drive code reviews for automation scripts, enforce coding standards, and share knowledge.
• Participate in agile ceremonies—sprint planning, backlog grooming, standups, demos, and retrospectives.
• Define QA and automation metrics (e.g., automation coverage, execution stability, defect leakage).

Required Skills & Experience

• 8–10 years

  in software QA, with

  2+ years

  leading a QA team and handson automation experience.
• Proven expertise in designing and building

  Selenium WebDriver

  automation solutions.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or C# for test automation.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
• Expertise testing

  consumerfacing ecommerce storefronts

  (high traffic, complex checkout flows).
• Handson experience working with leading ERP

  implementation -

  testing and integrations analysis.
• Practical experience on

  Shopify

  platforms—theme customizations, app integrations, Liquid templates.
• Familiarity with test management tools (TestRail, Zephyr) and defect trackers (JIRA, Azure DevOps).
• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Comfortable working in an

  Agile/Scrum

  environment.
