Job Title: QA Lead Location: Calicut, Kerala Experience: Minimum 5 Years (3+ years in Automation, 2+ years in Manual Testing) Job Type: Full-time Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented QA Lead to oversee the quality assurance of our software products. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in QA, with a strong foundation in both manual and automation testing. As a QA Lead, you will be responsible for strategizing, planning, and executing test activities while mentoring junior QA members. Key Responsibilities: Lead QA efforts across projects including test planning, execution, and reporting Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts and frameworks Conduct functional, regression, integration, and system testing Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure high-quality deliverables Perform root cause analysis for production issues and provide corrective action plans Maintain and update test documentation including test plans, test cases, and bug reports Drive continuous improvements in QA processes and tools Mentor and guide junior QA engineers in both manual and automation practices Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field Minimum 5 years of QA experience, including: 3+ years in Automation Testing (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG, or similar) 2+ years in Manual Testing with strong attention to detail Experience in using tools like JIRA, Git, Jenkins, and test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr) Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Show more Show less
