We are looking for a Mid Senior QA Engineer to conduct testing of our fintech application suite, covering both mobile apps (iOS & Android) and web-based admin portals. The role requires strong ownership of end-to-end testing, alignment with India/Dubai time zones, and flexibility to work extended hours during critical release cycles.

The QA resource will:

• Conduct end-to-end testing across mobile and web platforms, including functional, regression, compatibility, and UAT.
• Ensure device coverage on iOS, Android, and optionally iPad, with vendor-managed procurement and upkeep.
• Conduct web and browser compatibility testing for web portals
• Provide structured test coverage, defect documentation, daily updates, and weekly QA reports.
• Work closely with product and engineering teams to prioritise and triage defects.

Qualifications & Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and Testing, with at least 3 years in fintech, banking, or financial services applications.
• Proven ability to design and execute test strategies for complex, multi-platform applications.
• Strong hands-on experience with mobile app testing (iOS and Android), including device and OS matrix coverage.
• Experience in web and browser-based testing for admin/enterprise portals, including responsive design validation.
• Deep knowledge of test management tools and bug tracking systems (Jira)
• Strong understanding of SIT, UAT, functional, regression, and integration testing processes.
• Skilled at defect reporting and root cause analysis, with attention to detail in logs, screenshots, and impact assessment.
• Familiarity with compliance-heavy environments (RBI, CBUAE, PCI-DSS, or equivalent standards) is a strong advantage.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills, with flexibility to work across Yuze India/Dubai time zones.
• Exposure to automation frameworks (Selenium, Appium, or similar) is a plus, though manual QA expertise is the primary requirement.
• Maintain comprehensive test coverage
• Submit daily defect reports (test case coverage, new issues, status changes, blockers).
• Submit weekly QA reports (defect trends, coverage metrics, risks, execution progress).
• Maintain and submit weekly timesheets with activities and hours logged.
• Defect reports must include steps, severity, logs/screenshots, impact analysis.
• Any gaps in documentation will be treated as a performance issue.
• All testing priorities will be set by the clients product/engineering team.
• Any additional scenarios must be flagged by QA, but final prioritization rests with the client.
• QA is responsible for providing a formal sign-off at the end of each test cycle, confirming test coverage, executed results, and defect status.
• Sign-off will indicate that the build has been tested against agreed scope and is either ready for release or requires further fixes before deployment.
