QA Engineer

Location: South Kolkata (Onsite Only – No Remote Work Opportunity)

Experience: 6 months – 2 years (Experienced Candidates Preferred)

Preferred Education: BCA

We are hiring a QA Engineer to join our quality assurance team in South Kolkata. The ideal candidate will have experience in manual testing, a good eye for detail, and a strong understanding of software QA methodologies. Basic knowledge of automation testing will be considered an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications to identify bugs and ensure product quality.
• Understand project requirements and prepare detailed test cases and test scenarios.
• Execute test plans and report issues in a clear and structured manner.
• Work closely with the development team to resolve issues and verify fixes.
• Ensure applications meet functional, performance, and UI standards.
• Maintain documentation related to testing processes and results.

Requirements:

• 6 months to 2 years of experience in manual software testing.
• Good understanding of SDLC and STLC processes.
• Ability to create and maintain test cases, test scripts, and test data.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be based in South Kolkata.
• BCA graduates are preferred.
• Knowledge of automation testing tools like Selenium is a plus.
