As a Jr. Product Designer with 0-1 years of experience, you will collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and end user needs. Your responsibilities will include conducting user research, usability testing, and gathering feedback to inform design decisions. You will create wireframes (low, mid, and high fidelity), prototypes, and visual designs that effectively communicate design concepts and user flows. Your role will require a strong understanding of icons and semiotics, as well as taking ownership of existing products to continuously make improvements based on user feedback and market trends. It is essential to stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and implement best practices in UI/UX design. You will proactively explore new opportunities for product enhancements and feature development, utilizing your creative problem-solving skills to drive innovation. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining design guidelines, style guides, and design systems to ensure consistency across all digital touchpoints. Evolving and improving designs based on user feedback, technical constraints, and business goals are key aspects of this role. You will also contribute to company branding initiatives by proposing new ideas and design concepts that align with the company's vision and values. Collaboration with the development team is crucial to ensure successful implementation of designs, providing support as needed during the development phase. Effective communication of design ideas and rationale to stakeholders is necessary to foster a collaborative and transparent design process. Required skills for this role include high attention to detail, fact-based decision-making ability, self-drive, enthusiasm about technology, problem-solving skills, analytical and logical thinking abilities, collaborative attitude towards teamwork, exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and flexibility to adapt to various project requirements. Candidates must hold a degree in a relevant design discipline such as B.Des, M.Des, BCA in Design Animation, or any equivalent qualification in a design-related discipline. Proficiency in Figma tool is mandatory, and familiarity with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, mock flow, Sketch, or similar software is preferred.
