QA Engineer (SaaS & Automation)

Position:

Responsibilities

• Conduct

  functional, regression, and exploratory testing

  of SaaS-based web applications.
• Perform

  backend database testing

  , including data integrity, migration, and query validation.
• Validate and optimize

  search functionality

  leveraging Elastic Search.
• Design, build, and maintain

  Grafana dashboards

  to monitor test outcomes and performance KPIs.
• Implement and execute

  automation testing frameworks

  using Puppeteer and Playwright.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate test automation within

  CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins)

  .
• Ensure comprehensive

  test coverage

  across

  cloud environments (AWS/Azure)

  .
• Document and track defects with clarity, working closely with developers for timely resolution.
• Continuously optimize QA processes for

  efficiency, scalability, and accuracy

  .

Required Skill Set

Must-Have Skills

• Proven experience in

  SaaS product and web application testing

  .
• Strong hands-on expertise in

  backend database testing

  .
• Practical experience validating search with

  Elastic Search

  .
• Ability to design and maintain

  Grafana dashboards

  .
• Proficiency in

  automation testing

  using Puppeteer and Playwright.
• Working knowledge of

  AWS and/or Azure environments

  .
• Strong understanding of

  CI/CD pipelines

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in

  Computer Science, IT, or related fields

• 4+ years

  of hands-on QA testing experience in SaaS/web applications.

• 2+ years

  of automation testing experience with Puppeteer/Playwright.
• Strong exposure to

  backend database

  and

  Elastic Search testing

  .
• Cloud knowledge in

  AWS/Azure environments

  .
• Certifications in

  QA, Automation, or Cloud

  (preferred).
