Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer proficient in Java and Rest Assured to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests to ensure the reliability and performance of our APIs and web applications. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Rest Assured for API testing. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand application requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to facilitate continuous testing. Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with the development team to resolve issues. Maintain and enhance existing test frameworks to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Required Qualifications: Proven experience in QA automation with a strong focus on Java and Rest Assured. Familiarity with testing frameworks such as TestNG or JUnit. Experience with version control systems like Git. Understanding of RESTful APIs and HTTP protocols. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with other automation tools like Selenium or Postman. Knowledge of BDD frameworks such as Cucumber. Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
