QA Engineer

We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer to ensure the quality and functionality of our website. As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for performing manual testing of website features, functionalities, and user interfaces. You will collaborate closely with our development team to identify issues, implement solutions, and enhance the overall user experience. Your responsibilities will include developing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on project requirements. You will conduct thorough regression testing to ensure the stability of website updates and releases. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will identify and prioritize QA tasks, implement and maintain automated testing scripts, and continuously monitor and improve QA processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with at least 2 years of proven experience as a Website QA Engineer. You should have a strong understanding of JavaScript, React.js, and Next.js frameworks, as well as solid knowledge of UI testing principles and practices. Hands-on experience with testing automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, or similar is required. Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Go, or PHP, and familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and issue tracking tools (e.g., JIRA) are essential. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, strong communication, and collaboration abilities are key attributes for this role. You should be proactive, able to work independently, and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience with a product-based startup would be a plus.
