QA Engineer

Key Responsibilities: - Perform functional testing from an end user's perspective, including receiving requirements/use cases from Stakeholders, writing test cases, and reviewing them to ensure accurate testing of all business processes. - Manage end-to-end testing responsibilities in the test case repository, collaborate with Client Test Managers, and prepare project closure documentation related to testing phases. - Create a highly detailed test plan for release, review test cases for accuracy, define specifications for automated test script creation, and assist with enhancement and automation requests. - Responsible for reporting accurate test coverage of requirements in a release, managing defects with developers and clients, validating pass/fail with Stakeholders, reviewing regression test cases, and attending meetings/demos. Qualification Required: - Masters or Bachelors degree - 5+ years of demonstrated experience as a QA tester or similar role. - Proficiency in software QA methodologies, tools, and processes. - Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases. - Attention to detail and ability to identify, isolate, and document defects effectively. - Hands-on experience with automated testing tools. - Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting. - Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus. - Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies. - Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps, Bugzilla). - Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and quick learner with a can-do attitude.
