QA Engineer Automation

Role Overview: As a QA Engineer Automation at Deutsche Bank in Pune, India, you will play a crucial role in defining and managing testing strategies, plans, and deliverables within specific applications and programs on a global basis. You will work closely with teams to ensure the adoption of best practices and policies in various QA & Testing disciplines such as Performance Testing, Test Automation, Test Processes, and Testing Products. Additionally, you may possess specialist Business Testing knowledge to drive the strategic direction of the testing practice. Key Responsibilities: - Design and propose solutions for user stories and tasks, analyzing system requirements and devising suitable automation/performance test strategies. - Develop best-of-breed frameworks and harnesses for automation/performance testing, taking ownership of specialist testing activities at a program level. - Collaborate with QA & Testing professionals to create and execute testing strategies and plans, documenting test summary and suggesting product improvements. - Manage stakeholder expectations, tailor process/frameworks aligned with business area needs, and champion best practices in the specialist area. - Contribute to planning and continuous improvement activities, supporting various project stakeholders. Qualifications Required: - Accountability for all aspects of Test Delivery within DFS domain, with expertise in test execution, defect tracking, and performance testing. - Proficiency in developing and managing automation test harnesses, familiarity with core SDLC processes and tools like HP ALM and Jira. - Experience in technical areas such as HIVE, Python, Spark, GCP Big Query, and knowledge of SAS Mainframe would be advantageous. - Ability to support all testing phases like UAT, VPT, OAT, Pen Test, and lead testing teams effectively. - Strong customer orientation, performance-driven mindset, and experience in defining technical solutions for improved test strategy and delivery. - Previous experience in program and project management, risk management, and working in globally diverse teams. - Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field, participation/completion in Testing certification programs like Six Sigma, CSTE, ISTQB, ISEB, CSTP, or tool-specific certifications.
