Location : Yangon, Myanmar (On-site)

Must have Telecom Industry Experience

Job Purpose:

To design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for functional, regression, and integration testing using modern automation tools and practices.

Principal Accountabilities:

Develop reusable and modular automation test scripts using Selenium or equivalent tools.
Collaborate with QA leads and manual testers to identify automation candidates.
Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
Maintain automation frameworks and contribute to script optimization.
Execute automated regression suites and analyze failures.
Support API and UI automation efforts as per project needs.
Own regression suite design, execution, and sign-off for production releases.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Applications, or related field.
ISTQB Advanced Level, Certified Agile Tester, or equivalent (optional but valuable).
4–8 years of experience in test automation.
Experience on automation strategy and implementation using frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
Experience integration with CI/CD pipelines for scalable, repeatable testing.
Experience in testing applications deployed on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and contributing to DevOps workflows through CI/CD toolchains.
Adapt with test coverage via TDD using tools like Cucumber or TestNG.
Exposure to performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling) and basic understanding of security testing best practices.
Knowledge of JUnit, or similar test frameworks.
Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST-assured) and Git/Jenkins.
Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as JIRA.
Understanding of telecom, BSS testing environments is an advantage.
