QA Automation Tester

Required Skills & Experience

· 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance (Manual + Automation).

· 1+ year hands-on experience in Playwright automation, preferably using TypeScript.

· Strong understanding of modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue, etc.) from a testing perspective.

· Solid experience in API testing and database validation (SQL or similar).

· Proven ability to design and execute comprehensive test cases, including edge cases and negative scenarios.

Key Responsibilities

· Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright with TypeScript.

· Perform manual testing of modern web applications (UI, API, and database layers).

· Conduct API testing (using tools like Postman or automated frameworks) and database validation using SQL queries.

· Identify, document, and track defects, verify fixes and ensure regression coverage.

· Contribute to test planning, test case design, and test data creation for both manual and automated testing.

· Ensure cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility testing.

· Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.) and version control (Git).

· Experience in performance or security testing (nice to have).

· ISTQB certification or equivalent (Preferred).
