QA Automation Intern

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Automation Tester Intern to join our QA team. As an intern, you will assist in designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and performance of our software applications. This internship offers a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience with automation tools, frameworks, and industry best practices while working closely with experienced engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in designing and developing automated test scripts using standard tools and frameworks.
• Collaborate with developers and QA engineers to understand project requirements and test scenarios.
• Execute automated and manual test cases to identify software defects.
• Help in maintaining and updating existing automation frameworks.
• Document and report bugs, test results, and observations clearly and accurately.
• Learn and apply best practices in test automation and software quality assurance.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of software testing concepts and the software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Familiarity with at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Java, Python, or JavaScript).
• Exposure to or willingness to learn automation testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Appium.
• Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git) is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Eagerness to learn new technologies and grow in a collaborative environment.

Job Type: Internship
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: ₹5,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Swargate, Pune, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
