QA Automation Engineer

As a QA Automation Engineer at Beesolver Technologies, you will play a crucial role in the growth of our team. Your responsibilities will include: - Writing and executing reusable, modular, and scalable automation test scripts for functional, regression, and end-to-end testing - Designing, developing, and maintaining web automation frameworks using tools like Playwright - Designing, developing, and maintaining mobile automation frameworks using tools like Appium - Planning and managing test automation activities to ensure timely execution - Performing detailed root cause analysis up and down the software stack using a variety of debugging tools - Integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins - Ensuring application compatibility across different browsers, platforms, and devices - Conducting API testing and automation - Maintaining detailed test documentation, including test cases, automation strategy, execution logs, and defect reports - Collaborating closely with development, QA, and product teams to align automation strategies with project goals - Managing test efforts using Jira for test case management and defect tracking - Conducting thorough testing of applications to ensure alignment with user requirements and business goals - Performing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) as per strict guidelines - Researching and implementing best practices, tools, and methodologies to improve testing efficiency and coverage Minimum Qualifications / Skills: - Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes - Solid understanding of Agile methodologies - Strong experience in mobile testing and automation (both IOS and Android) - Experience in writing and maintaining test documentations - Extensive professional experience as a software engineer or SDET focusing on test automation - Strong programming skills in languages such as TypeScript or JavaScript - Strong experience in Appium for mobile automation - Hands-on experience with modern testing tools and frameworks such as BrowserStack, Webdriver.io, Playwright, and others - Experience with API testing and automation using tools like Postman, REST-assured, or Request - Basic knowledge of database technologies - Experience setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, or GitHub Actions - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Strong communication skills Preferred Qualifications / Skills: - Experience in Accessibility testing - Experience with performance testing - Experience working with cloud microservice architectures - Experience with Infrastructure as Code for use in cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Heroku, or GCP - Hold a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar field Please note that this is a full-time position with a day shift schedule from Monday to Friday.
