As a QA Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in automating test cases using Playwright and optimizing existing scripts for efficiency. **Key Responsibilities:** - Automate manual test cases from Azure DevOps backlog into Playwright. - Enhance test scripts for maintainability, reusability, and performance. - Convert Selenium-based test cases to Playwright for improved efficiency. - Execute Playwright test suites, report results, and troubleshoot automation failures. - Conduct manual and automated regression testing for each release cycle. - Identify, document, and track defects using Azure DevOps. - Collaborate with QA and DevOps teams to integrate Playwright automation into CI/CD pipelines. - Recommend improvements in automation strategy, frameworks, and test processes. **Qualifications Required:** - 3 to 6 years of software testing experience with at least 2+ years in Playwright automation. - Proficiency in Selenium, .Net, and test automation best practices. - Familiarity with Azure DevOps for test case management and defect tracking. - Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure Pipelines. - Understanding of software testing methodologies including functional, regression, and smoke testing. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
