1. QA Strategy & Architecture

2. Define and own the full-stack QA strategy, including unit, API, UI, performance, and security testing.
3. Architect and implement scalable test automation frameworks across web, backend, mobile, and cloud systems.
4. Design comprehensive test plans, strategies, and data strategies for complex systems.

5. Automation Development

6. Develop, maintain, and optimize automation test suites for web, APIs, and databases.
7. Ensure CI/CD pipeline integration of automated tests.
8. Set code quality standards and best practices for test automation code.

9. Leadership & Collaboration

10. Lead and mentor QA engineers and SDETs in automation design and test execution.
11. Collaborate with product managers, developers, and DevOps to drive quality.
12. Provide technical guidance for root cause analysis and defect resolution.

13. Performance & Security Testing

14. Drive performance, load, and stress testing initiatives.
15. Integrate security testing tools and support secure SDLC practices.

16. Continuous Improvement

17. Analyze and report on test metrics to drive improvements.
18. Evaluate and implement new QA tools and techniques.
19. Ensure compliance with agile and DevOps methodologies.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of QA experience, with at least 2 years in an architect or lead role.
• Expertise in at least one test automation framework (e.g., Cypress, Playwright).
• Experience with REST API testing using tools like Postman or REST Assured.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Solid scripting skills in JavaScript, Python, or Java.
• Familiarity with containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (Azure, GCP).
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, QA processes, and Agile/Scrum environments.
