QA Engineer

Job Description: Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright and Python for web applications. Collaborate with development and QA teams to understand application functionality and create comprehensive test strategies. Design, implement, and execute end-to-end, regression, and performance tests to identify bugs and ensure application quality. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous testing and fast feedback loops. Troubleshoot and resolve issues identified during test execution and collaborate with developers to facilitate fixes. Perform cross-browser testing to ensure compatibility and consistency of the application across different environments. Report test results, raise defects, and track the progress of issues to resolution using issue-tracking tools. Continuously improve test automation frameworks, processes, and best practices. Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing within the team. Candidate Profile: Required Skills & Qualification Hands-on experience with Playwright for browser automation. Proficiency in Python, including familiarity with test frameworks like pytest. Strong understanding of software testing methodologies (unit, integration, regression, functional, etc.). Experience working with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript). Familiarity with CI/CD tools and version control systems (e.g., Git). Knowledge of API testing and testing tools like Postman or REST Assured is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
