QA Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Understand business and technical requirements and translate them into comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
• Perform manual testing for web applications and Salesforce implementations.
• Validate Salesforce configurations including workflows, flows, reports, dashboards, security settings, and integrations.
• Execute functional, regression, smoke, and UAT test cycles.
• Identify, log, track, and verify defects using defect tracking tools.
• Collaborate closely with developers, Salesforce admins, and project managers to resolve issues.
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and release cycles.
• Ensure quality standards are met before production releases.
• Ability to write test cases, test plans and test scenario
• Traceability Matrix
• Bug Remediation Plan

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong understanding of software testing fundamentals, SDLC, and STLC.
• Experience testing web-based applications.
• Ability to write clear and detailed test cases and test reports.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have):

• Experience testing Salesforce applications (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, etc.).
• Understanding of Salesforce objects, flows, validation rules, and security model.
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Salesforce QA or Admin certification is a plus.
