Job Description

The QA Analyst III is Experience Test Engineer within Integration team who has good written and verbal communication skills; and be able to interface efficiently with all support groups, other QA groups, application teams. The incumbent should be familiar w/principal testing methodologies, maintain and troubleshoot testing environments, execute tests, verify test results. The incumbent must exhibit quick learning abilities for large Integrated test environment including understanding business concepts from end to end perspective.

Accountabilities

Communicate with stakeholders spanning both internal and external teams
Assist QA Manager and QA Lead Analyst in identifying test scope, identifying project risks, and implementing process changes and efficiencies.
Maintain and develop test environment on-prem and cloud.
Oversee and enhance daily test regression and automation.
Ensure team members are complying with SDLC processes.
Develop and execute test scenarios and execute responsibilities with little oversight.
Create and maintain test artifacts and facilitating artifact reviews. Interface and communicate with internal teams and external support groups.
Help in implementing new technology/processes including new tools and test frameworks.
Develop domain-level expertise both on the application under test and testing practices.
Work with teams across globe and work as extension or independent initiatives.
Collaborate with Integration peers and seniors within team.
Flexible to adapt to business needs including managing multiple tasks.

Qualifications

Must be experienced with SQL and Linux/UNIX
Knowledge in OOP concepts and familiar with Python a plus.
Experience with messaging protocol(s). Experience in Financial Industry a plus.
Experience with Test Automation as well as manual testing.
Able to solve complex environment troubleshooting problems with logical thinking
Good problem determination skills that help lead to problem resolution.
Education: A Bachelor's or masters degree in computer science, Information Systems or other related discipline is required; or equivalent combination of education and relevant proven work experience that is required for the specific job level.
Experience: Typically, 6-8 years of progressively more demanding work experience. Candidate must demonstrate a successful testing career progression. Financial industry experience is preferred.
